Editor’s note: This post has been edited to reflect the HHSAA’s most recent revision to the state tournament schedule — that all games will be held at Farrington’s Skippa Diaz Stadium.

All of the Saturday Hawaii high school football scores are in and many of the state tournament matchups are now set.

In a thrilling finish, Hawaii Prep’s Mason Hunt kicked a 32-yard field goal with no time left on the clock to give Ka Makani a 3-0 victory over Kamehameha-Hawaii.

That victory put Hawaii Prep (7-0) the BIIF D-II title and a spot into the D-II state tourney that starts on Wednesday, Dec. 22. Brackets for the D-II states won’t be set until next weekend.

For the Warriors from the Big Isle, it was a rough 3-point loss after they escaped an upset by Honokaa with a 7-6 win last weekend.

In another big game Saturday, Aiea upset Moanalua 17-14 to grab the OIA D-I championship to qualify for states.

Also on Saturday, the final Open Division state berth was settled when Campbell — ranked No. 5 in the state by Bedrock Sports Hawaii — defeated No. 8 Waianae 33-14.

On Kauai, KIF champion and No. 9 Kapaa finished its regular season undefeated by topping Kauai High 23-6.
