Corbett also provided information to Bedrock Sports Hawaii about how many other Hawaii women did at the tournament.

Wrestling for Lyon College (Batesville, Arkansas), Corbett defeated Gabrielle Hamilton of Life University (Marietta, Georgia) 8-0 in the title match.

Previously in the two-day tournament, Corbett topped Elisa Holley of St. Andrews University (Laurinburg, North Carolina) 4-0 in the preliminary round, Karrah Smith of Southern Oregon University (Ashland, Oregon) 13-0 in the quarterfinals, and Jesse Kirby of Cumberland University (Lebanon, Tennessee) 10-7 in the semifinals.
