Just a few days ago, Bedrock Sports Hawaii published an update of Hawaii college football recruits from the Class of 2o24.
Those are the players who will be seniors this fall.
Right around the same time, a veritable blitz of Division I FBS offers came in for some of Hawaii’s underclassmen. And three players in particular were at the forefront of it: Campbell multi-position athlete Tana Tavui, Kahuku defensive back Madden Soliai and Punahou linebacker Ko’o Kia.
Tavui received offers from Cal, Utah State and Oregon State.
For Soliai, offers came in from Oregon State, Utah and Washington. He also picked up a recent offer from Nevada.

In other recent underclassmen recruiting news, Kahuku linebacker Maximum Fonoimoana picked up an offer from Oregon State, Mililani defensive back Isaiah Iosefa got one from Arizona State, and Kahuku defensive back Aiden Manutai received an offer from Utah State.
Also of note, Manutai was named a four-star recruit and ranked No. 120 in the ESPN 300 for the Class of 2025.
And, it wasn’t just underclassmen in the news.
From the Class of 2024, Zaiden Wallace received an offer from Arizona State, and Class of 2023 Aiea defensive lineman Sila Unutoa got one from UNLV.
And UNLV also gave an offer to 2024 Punahou defensive lineman Kekai Burnett.
