All Of WEEK 6’s Friday Scores; Honokaa Clutches BIIF D-II Lead By Downing Kamehameha-Hawaii 27-23

Bedrock Sports Hawaii brings you all seven of the high school football scores from Friday of WEEK 6 as well as Saturday’s schedule.

Honokaa Continues Rocking on the Big Island, 27-23

It was rocking on the Big Island in Division II on Friday, as Honokaa won a battle of unbeaten against Kamehamaha-Hawaii, 27-23.

The Warriors (4-1, 3-1) were leading by three late when the Dragons (4-0, 4-0) went ahead for good for the 27-23 final on backup quarterback Elijah Kaupu-Alip’s 45-yard touchdown pass to Keaka Cagampang with 6:17 remaining.

Maui Gets Past Snakebit Kamehameha-Maui, 10-3

On the Valley Isle, the Division I Maui Sabers (4-1, 3-1 MIL) had their hands full against D-II Kamehameha-Maui and escaped with a 10-3 win.

The Warriors, who made it all the way to the Division II state final a year ago, are now 0-4 (0-3 in the MIL) and the four losses have been by 4, 7, 7 and 8 points.

Roosevelt Has What It Takes In The End, 31-24

In a back-and-forth, rollicking game at their home stadium, Roosevelt (1-2, 1-1 OIA D-I) looked doomed when Radford scored with less than three minutes to take a one-point lead.

But the Rough Riders quickly went to work and Silas Kekahuna went around left end for a 15-yard touchdown less than a minute later to give Roosevelt a 31-24 victory over Radford (1-3, 0-2).
