Damien’s Sylas Alaimalo scored seven touchdowns including six on the ground while rushing for 216 yards to lead the Monarchs past ‘Iolani 69-35 at the Farrington High field Saturday night.
The win evened the season series between the two teams at one apiece and another matchup in the playoffs for the ILH D-I state berth is likely.
Elsewhere on Friday, Kaiser topped Kalaheo 21-14 to clinch an OIA D-II playoff spot. That win also eliminated the Mustangs from postseason contention and allowed Roosevelt and Kaimuki to grab the league’s two remaining playoff slots.
All of the WEEK 10 scores, updated standings of Hawaii’s five leagues and the WEEK 11 schedule follows.
