UPDATED: Aiea, Kailua, Farrington Qualify For OIA Division I Playoffs; All The WEEK 10 Scores And WEEK 11 Schedule

Note: This post has been updated to clarify playoff seeding.

Aiea’s 52-35 OIA Division I victory over Castle Saturday night cleared up the postseason picture quite a bit.

Na Alii (6-2, 4-1) not only sewed a playoff spot, but it also put Kailua (3-3-1, 3-2) and Farrington (5-4, 3-2) in the postseason while knocking out the Knights (1-7, 1-4). Only regular season champion Waipahu (7-1, 5-0) had clinched a spot previously.

Aiea can sew up the No. 2 seed by beating Farrington next week, and the Surfriders can clinch the third seed with a win over Roosevelt (2-4, 1-4).

However, if the Govs defeat Aiea and Kailua also wins, there will be a three-way tie for second place, with seeding to be determined by coin flips.

In another scenario, with Farrington winning and Kailua losing next week, the seeding would be Aiea at No. 2, Farrington at No. 3 and Kailua at No. 4.

Elsewhere on Saturday, Punahou (5-1, 3-0) locked up the ILH Open Division regular season title and the top seed in the league playoffs with a 42-21 victory over Saint Louis.

Also, Nanakuli (7-1, 7-0) topped McKinley 68-8 to wrap up an undefeated regular season in OIA D-II.
