Bedrock Sports Hawaii has all your Hawaii high school football WEEK 7 scores and the WEEK 8 schedule.
The weekend full of 23 games wrapped up Saturday with 11 contests.
Punahou took control of the ILH with a 43-19 victory over Saint Louis at the Farrington field. The Buffanblu are trying to get their first league top-tier title since 2014.
St. John Bosco (Bellflower, California) finished a clean sweep of three wins by mainland teams over Hawaii teams in WEEK 7. The Braves (No. 1 by MaxPreps) upended the Aloha State’s No. 1 team, Kahuku, 34-7.
In ILH D-II, ‘Iolani fought back from a 2-point deficit to beat Damien, 13-12, in the opener of a doubleheader at Farrington.
Kapolei made a case for entering the Bedrock Sports Hawaii’s Open Division Power 5, boosting their record to 5-0 by storming back from a 17-point hole to get past Moanalua 42-17.
Waipahu won an OIA Division I first-place duel, 20-14 over Aiea, at the Radford High field.
There was one forfeit — on the Big Island due to Waiakea’s inability to field enough players to safely play against Hilo — according to a source.
