Change Of Course: Hawaii’s Dillon Gabriel Will Transfer To Oklahoma Instead

Dillon Gabriel is going to play football at Oklahoma, according to his Twitter feed.

Gabriel, the former Mililani star, changed his mind and will be a Sooner. Last month, he had announced his intentions to transfer from UCF to UCLA.

In a story by ESPN’s Tom Vahaaren, Gabriel will be back with Jeff Lebby, Oklahoma’s offensive coordinator who was Gabriel’s quarterbacks coach and then OC at UCF.

That feeling of compatibility with Lebby could have been the reason for Gabriel’s decision to change from his original course.

At the time of his decision to go to UCLA, Gabriel talked candidly with Bedrock Sports Hawaii about his future: BEDROCK EXLUSIVE: Hawaii’s Dillon Gabriel Expresses His Love For UCF And Is Hungry To Take Next Step at UCLA.
