3:41: Haaheo Dela Cruz of ‘Iolani sacks Damien quarterback Jensen Tanele to thwart Damien’s next drive. The Monarchs punt.

3:47: Quarterback Micah Hoomanawanui has ‘Iolani on the move. The Raiders are at the Damien 17.
3:48: Raiders face a fourth and 10 from the 17 after a pass breakup by the Monarchs’ Braeden Faurot.
3:51: A Hoomanawanui pass to Taniela Taliauli loses two yards and Damien takes over on downs. 10:08 left in the first half.
3:55: Tough defense by ‘Iolani brings up fourth and 20 for Damien. Twice Tanele was dropped for losses, including one on a shotgun snap that went awry.
3:56: ‘Iolani starts at its own 25 after the punt.
3:58: Bantolina with a 15-yard run to bring the ball to the 5o.
3:59: With great protection, Hoomanawanui hits Lathan Mokiao with a 21 yard pass, moving the ball to the Damien 29.
4:00: The Raiders face a third and 19 after a holding penalty. On the next play, Damien’s Jayce Jay-Pedro sacks Hoomanawanui for seven yards and ‘Iolani needs to punt.
4:03: After a touchback, the Monarchs take over on their 20.
4:05: Nikolas Yim’s sack of Tanele ruins Damien’s next possession. The Monarchs punt and the Raiders take over on their own 41. 2:30 left in the first half.

4:37: Second half is underway. ‘Iolani’s Hoomanawanui is sacked twice — once each by Faurot and Jay-Pedro to put the whammy on the Raiders’ first drive of the half. They punt.
4:38: Damien can’t move on its first possession of the second half. The Monarchs punt and ‘Iolani takes over on its own 31.
4:40: Bantolina is off to the races on first down. He covers 69 yards for a touchdown. Chang adds the extra point. ‘IOLANI 14, DAMIEN 0, 8:19 left in third quarter.
4:45: Damien’s Tanele completes passes of 9 yards to Ian Sera and 16 yards to Sylas Alaimalo to bring Damien to its own 45. Tanele then gains 13 yards on the ground to the ‘Iolani 42.
4:47: On fourth and 10 from the 42, Tanele’s long pass falls incomplete. The last two plays, pass interference could have been called, but was not. There was a big bump by the defender on third down.
4:51: Bantolina is held to no gain on a fourth-down run. Damien takes over on its 32.
4:55: Damien is driving. A Tanele pass to Kela Chinen-Zablan goes for 11 yards. And then another pass goes to Alaimalo for 12 yards to the ‘Iolani 21.
4:58: On a third-down play, Tanele’s deep pass is intercepted by Hudson Della-Lucis, who runs it all the way back for an apparent 95-yard return touchdown. However, the play is called back for a clipping penalty. ‘Iolani ball at the Damien 48.

5:03: A Hoomanawanui shovel pass to Keao Miyahira covers 23 yards to the Monarchs’ 14.
5:05: Three plays and one first down later, Bantolina scoots up the middle for a 3-yard touchdown. Chang kicks the extra point. ‘IOLANI 21, DAMIEN 0, 10:30 left in game.
5:13: A Tanele pass to Kamalii Labanon for 14 yards is the highlight of Damien’s next drive before the Monarchs punt.
5:23: Lee’s run of 23 yards sets the stage for a sustained ‘Iolani drive. This time, Cainen Torres runs the ball eight straight times and punches in a touchdown from 4 yards out. Chang kicks the extra point. ‘IOLANI 28, DAMIEN 0, 2:38 left in game.
5:27: Damien gives up the ball on downs.
5:28: ‘Iolani takes over at the Damien 41. All the Raiders have to do is run out the clock.
