Shang HI Media husband and wife videographers Shang Ong and Tiffany Canonigo-Ong created a highlight compilation of Waimea’s 45-6 victory over King Kekaulike in the Division II title game of the the First Hawaiian Bank/HHSAA Football State Championships on Nov. 26.

You can watch that fantastic video below.

First, here are some thoughts of covering the game from the point of view of Shang Ong:

“Two outer island schools facing off in Honolulu, I was so impressed by the support they both received from their communities from Kauai and Maui. Definitely a dog fight, hard running and a game of inches where each team fought for each first down. Strength goes to Waimea for putting together some outstanding defensive plays and their quarterback really impressed me with his option plays.”

Don’t miss the upcoming Part 8 of this series to watch Shang HI Media’s Open Division state championship game highlight reel.

Waimea coach Kyle Linoz talks to some of his players during a 45-6 win over King Kekaulike for the Division II football state championship on Nov. 26.
