Reiter earned two of those silver medals, placing second in the men’s 100-meter breaststroke (1:02.29) and 200 breaststroke (2:17.61) in the national regional meet.

Reiter was representing the ‘Iolani Swim Club, and he was also a part of the bronze-medal winning 400 medley relay team (3:59.92) along with Evan Wong,  Connor Seminavage and Briscoe Beaton.

Reiter is a former ‘Iolani School standout now swimming for Cal Baptist, Wong is an ‘Iolani student, Seminavage goes to Kamehameha, and Briscoe will be heading to the University of Arizona to swim this fall.

Miller’s second-place silver medal finish came in the women’s 200 butterfly (2:16.16). She will be an ‘Iolani junior and was representing the Kamehameha Swim Club.

There were many other Hawaii competitors at the event from the ‘Iolani Swim Club and the Kamehameha Swim Club along with one swimmer (Aika Swanson) from the Hawaii Swim Club.
