ILH D-I Champion ‘Iolani Football Team Schedules Three Games Against OIA Opponents

Fortune has smiled on the ‘Iolani football team this fall. The Raiders have played six games, the most of any school in the state, and they’ve won them all.

In addition, they’ve also clinched the Interscholastic League of Honolulu Division I championship and a berth in theD-I state tournament which will be held in late December and early January.

But more fortune has come to the Raiders. They’ve added three nonleague games against Oahu Interscholastic Association teams that will help them prepare for that state tourney instead of being idle for two months.

Because of COVID-19’s wrench into the leagues’ schedules this year, the ILH is wrapping up its regular season tonight, the same night the OIA is starting its season.

In addition, PAC-5 added one game against an OIA team coming up.

‘Iolani three games and PAC-5’s one game against OIA teams are as follows:

Saturday, Oct. 30
>> ‘Iolani at Kailua, 6 p.m.
>> Pac-Five at Pearl City, 7:30 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 5
>> Castle at ‘Iolani, 3:15 p.m.

Friday, Dec. 3
>> ‘Iolani at Radford, 6 p.m.
