Kaiser’s Sean Connell Is Bedrock’s Outstanding Player Of WEEK 4

—–

After losing its first two football games of the season by a total of eight points, Kaiser put together a late game-winning drive to beat previously undefeated Kalani 16-12 last Saturday.

And quarterback Sean Connell had the final say in the Eastside rivalry game, rushing home the winning touchdown with 14 seconds left.

For that effort, Connell is Bedrock Sports Hawaii’s Outstanding Football Player of the Week.

Connell wound up throwing for 198 yards and two TDs and rushing for 45.

Of those passing yards, 100 went to Keagan Lime on six receptions, including a TD and one big gainer on the winning drive.

Connell is a 5-foot-11, 18o-pound junior transfer from Punahou.

Kalani fell to 3-1 and Kaiser moved to 1-2. The Cougars host Roosevelt on Friday. The Falcons are off this weekend and return to action against Kaimuki at the Farrington High field on Sept. 23.
