Despite taking a two-goal lead in the title game, Team USA dropped a 6-3 decision to Chinese Taipei at the World Skate Games Inline Hockey Championships in Buenos Aires on Sunday.
The U.S. squad — with Kapolei Inline Hockey Arenas defenseman Jordan Nahoi-Baricar — went 3-4 in the tournament, and made it to the final after a 5-4 semifinal win over Namibia.
The winning Chinese Taipei team won all seven of its games in the tourney.
Prior to that, a huge 3-0 upset by the U.S. over previously undefeated France secured a spot in the semifinals.
Nahoi-Baricar finished the tourney with one assist.
