No. 1 Mililani and No. 2 Kahuku To Meet For Football State Open Championship

Mililani is No. 1 in the polls now, and Kahuku is the reigning two-time state Open champion,

The rivals will meet in the championship game next Friday at the T.C. Ching Athletics Complex.

On Friday night in a semifinal doubleheader at the Trojans’ home field, Mililani rolled over Campbell 44-7 and Kahuku proved to be too much for Punahou, 28-16.

The title game will be a rematch of the OIA Open championship, which the Trojans won 28-21.

The Red Raiders have won 1o state championships. Mililani is going for its second state title in the top division.
