Punahou’s Alika Cavaco-Amoy And Saint Louis’ Noah Wily Make Commitments To Hawaii

—–

The news travels fast.

Within hours of two high school football players making their college commitments, it was all over social media.

Still, it’s worth noting here at Bedrock Sports Hawaii, too. These two guys are among the very best on the defensive side of the ball in the ILH — Punahou linebacker Alika Cavaco-Amoy and Saint Louis linebacker Noah Wily.

They’ll go against each other in the ILH wars one more time this fall. On Saturday, they announced on Twitter that they’ll be going to the University of Hawaii for college football.

Cavaco-Amoy also has offers from Air Force, Arizona, Army, San Diego State and Texas State. Wily holds offers from Arizona, Oregon State and Washington State.

There is a definite trend at work here. Including Cavaco-Amoy and Wily, UH coach Timmy Chang has landed four high-profile Hawaii high school recruits recently. The other two are Punahou offensive lineman Tui Muti and Kamehameha linebacker Nazaiah Caravallo.
