Two teams from Kapolei Inline Hockey Arenas skated to NARCH Winternationals titles in Irvine, Calif., over Martin Luther King Day weekend.
The KIHA Warriors 12-and-under team captured the gold medal in the Gold Division, and the KIHA Warriors 14-and-under team won the gold medal in the Silver Division.

Two other KIHA teams played in the tournament. The KIHA Wahines women’s team made it to the Platinum Division semifinals, and the KIHA Warriors 10-and-under team did not place.

Players on the KIHA 10-and-under roster were Garrett Donaldson, Maiya Birdsall, Mireu Hwangbo, Zeph Saguibo, Ethan Clancy, James Stewart, Maddox Scott, Brayden Ludwing and Lucky Colella.

In addition, a bunch of KIHA players hooked up with mainland teams, including: MacKenzie Scott, Kingston Saguibo and Evan Clancy with the Tour OC Blades 8-and-under team that lost in the Silver Division title game; Jaxon Pang and Kyler Okamoto and Elijah Chavez with the Pama Golden Knights Academy 16-and-under team; Jordan Nahoi-Baricar with the 16-and-under and 18-and-under Tour OC Blades teams; Kyler Okamoto and Kawena Lee with the Labeda Raiders Hockey Club 18-and-under team; and Kimo Chun and Jon Chun with the Meh men’s Gold Division team.
Pang, Okamoto and Chavez and their PGKA teammates won the 16-and-under Gold Division title.
Nahoi-Baricar and his 16-and-under Tour OC Blades lost 1-0 in the Platinum Division championship game.

KIHA Spring Season Begins This Week
The KIHA youth and adult divisions have begun the spring season this week with Ironman tournaments and league play.
