For years, the Bishop Gorman football team of Las Vegas has gotten players transferring in from Hawaii.

This year, it appears there are at least three making the move from the 808.

It was previously reported that offensive lineman KJ Hallums was making the switch to the Gaels from Punahou.

Now, two more from Hawaii are on Bishop Gorman’s MaxPreps roster — Zedekiah Anahu-Ambrosio from Konawaena and Kaina Watson from Kamehameha. Both are dynamic receivers.

On his Twitter profile, Watson lists himself as a Bishop Gorman player. Anahu-Ambrosio is still listed on his Twitter profile as a Konawaena player, but he comfirmed by text on Saturday that he will play for the Gaels.

A year ago as a sophomore for the Wildcats, Anahu-Ambrosio made 72 receptions for 1,083 yards and 22 touchdowns. He was also a big factor in Konawaena’s run to the state Division I championship. In the title game against Waipahu, he had five receptions for 71 yards and scored three TDs.

Watson didn’t pile up the yardage as a freshman last season, but he did lead the Warriors in receiving with 20 catches for 179 yards and two TDs.
