Waipahu And Nanakuli Join The Bunch, With Minimal Other Movement In Bedrock’s Latest Power 5s

—–

There was very little movement this week in Bedrock Sports Hawaii’s Power 5s.

The biggest splashes were made by Waipahu and Nanakuli.

The Marauders entered at No. 4 in Division I after a convincing 35-7 home victory over Radford on Friday. With Waipahu joining the club, Hilo dropped out.

In Division II, the Golden Hawks rolled 33-14 at home against Kaiser and jumped into the No. 4 spot. With Nanakuli coming in, Kamehameha-Maui dropped from the rankings.

In the Open Division, Punahou made the most noise, moving ahead of Campbell into the No. 3 position. The Buffanblu came close to but did not pass No. 2 Mililani in the voting by various sports media personnel from around the state.

In the latest national rankings this week, Kahuku (No. 1 in the Open Power 5 checked in at No. 37 by MaxPreps and No. 91 by High School Football America.
