Every year, a bunch of Hawaii wrestlers decide to go on to compete in college and this year is no different.

Bedrock Sports Hawaii has learned about nine Hawaii seniors who will be mainland bound in the fall to wrestle.

It’s highly likely there are other Hawaii seniors planning or already committed to wrestle in college who aren’t on this list yet. If so, let us know ([email protected]) and we can add those athletes here.

At last check-in with some coaches earlier this month, there are also at least two seniors planning to wrestle in college who are undecided about where they plan to continue at the next level — Moanalua 117-pound state champion Isabelle Asuncion, and Waianae 138-pound state runner-up Hakuilua Paaluhi.

According to one Hawaii coach, there’s also a junior (Kamehameha 113-pound state champion Evan Kusumoto) who has already made a commitment to wrestle in college at San Francisco State University after his high school senior season in 2024.

The list of nine college-bound Hawaii senior wrestlers we know about is below, with photos of some of them.
