CONSENSUS TOP 10: Media Outlets Agree On Top 6 Football Teams In The State

—–

Here we are in the third week of the season and three media outlets have their high school football Top 10 lists out there now, with the addition of KHON-2 this week.

Below are the Top 10 teams from the Honolulu Star-Advertiser, ScoringLive.com and KHON-2, followed by Bedrock’s choices for a Top 10 — and then a consensus Top 10 of all four lists.

First, a few things:

>> A huge matchup is slated for Friday night, with Kapolei visiting Waipahu. Both teams have a loss to a higher ranked team and both are aiming to stick around as one of the Top 10 teams all season, which will be much harder to do for the team that loses.

  • Iolani Forfeited against Farrington last Week!
    They should be (0-1(
    And not ranked

    • Thanks for the comment, Kalihi Kid. There is one list in the story in which they did not make the Top 10. As far as I know, forfeits are only for league games. Also, do you know if there was an official reason given for ‘Iolani not playing Farrington?

  • Hi Nick, i believe Iolani forteited because they had lots of injuries during the Kaimuki game.

    • Thanks Alvin!!
