Most years, the Hawaii high school football league championship games are spread out over several weeks.
Not so this season. Over the weekend — WEEK 13 this fall — eight teams won league title games.
The 2022 champions (and title game results) heading into the state tournament are:
>> ILH Open: Punahou Buff ‘N Blue 24, Saint Louis Crusaders 6
>> OIA Open: Kahuku Red Raiders 35, Mililani Trojans 0
>> OIA Division I: Waipahu Marauders 38, Aiea Na Alii 30
>> OIA Division II: Nanakuli Golden Hawks 35, Kaiser Cougars 21
>> KIF: Kapaa Warriors 3, Waimea Menehunes 0
>> BIIF Division I: Konawaena Wildcats 51, Hilo Vikings 0
>> BIIF Division II: Honokaa Dragons 19, Kamehameha-Hawaii Warriors 9
>> MIL Division II: King Kekaulike Na Alii 28, Kamehameha-Maui Warriors 25
Other teams who were previously crowned first-place finishers or secured a league’s lone state tournament berth were:

>> MIL Division I: Lahainaluna Lunas
>> KIF Division II: Waimea Menehunes
>> ILH Division II: PAC-5 Wolfpack
All of the WEEK 13 scores and a schedule of all state tournament games in WEEK 15, 16 and 17 follow. No games will be held in WEEK 14 next weekend.
