First of all, this little ditty is not written by Honolulu Star-Advertiser sports reporter Brian McInnis. It’s just a bit about what he’s up to these days, which is a podcast about basketball. His picture near the byline is our way of introducing him to NickAbramo.com readers.
Secondly, what a logo!!! Done by his sister.
McInnis, who friends and associates call B-Mac, is best known for his coverage of the University of Hawaii men’s and women’s basketball teams and women’s soccer team. He also runs the Star-Advertiser’s UH sports website, “Warrior World,” and he contributes to the daily newspaper and online product in many other ways.
Mr. McInnis’s “Court Sense” podcast is up to 11 episodes now and going strong. He agreed for NickAbramo.com to add it to its smorgasbord of quality content for Hawaii sports fans. In the near future, McInnis may contribute to NickAbramo.com as a guest writer.
We’ll count this first episode of “Court Sense,” in which he chitchats with ESPN and Hawaii broadcaster Kanoa Leahey, as Guest Contribution No. 1.
B-Mac’s podcast, all 11 episodes, can be found on Apple podcasts.
Episode 1 — “Kanoa Leahey Calls It Like He Sees It” follows.
